Why shortcuts show later

Peeling, flaking, blistering, patchy sheen and premature fading can relate to contamination, trapped moisture, weak underlying coatings, incorrect primer, insufficient film build or unsuitable application conditions.

Ask for the preparation scope in writing

A quote should identify what is being cleaned, repaired, primed and coated, plus exclusions and how additional defects will be handled. “Wash and paint” is not enough detail for comparing complex roof work.
